Huge Post, Haul, and a Dupe!

First and foremost, I went to Target today with Scott. I got some neato stuff. I originally went to get some false lashes for fun and an illuminator, but decided against the lashes. But the illuminator is amazing.

Boots No.7 High Lights Illuminator

It's a really gorgeous pearly pink color and goes on like a lotion.

I also got some new Sonia Kashuk brushes. A new concealer, blending, and a small shadow brush.

Now for Coastal Scents!

I got the 10 Color Blush Palette. This will be awesome for clients.

The only thing I don't like is that the packaging gets super dirty easily

Along with that I got the Camo Quad in Medium. Also good for clients.

The last thing was a free sample of their mineral blush in Princess J Blush. I looove it. It's kind of a dirty rose color. I might buy some!

Great, huh? I'm super excited.

Also, walking through target I found a perfect dupe for Sephora by OPI Metro Chic. It's called Commander in Chic by Sally Hansen. Obviously it was their intention to dupe it.

Today was great. I wanted to hit up the MAC counter for the new To the Beach collection, but the only two things I wanted were, of course, sold out already.

Scott and Nathaniel spent the whole time trying on gangster clothes while Haley and I had a ball at the MAC counter. I left with the most amazing lipstick in the nude, matte color Honey-Love. The lady working did a great job picking it out for me. I also got the Cream Blush called Ladyblush that everyone and their dog loves. And I got an amaaazing paint pot in the color Bare Study, a stunning champagne color that I'm in love with. Miss Haley walked away with a stunning blue-green shadow called Steamy. It's so pretty. We had fun!

I'd review these, but they're of course amazing. The lipstick is so gosh darn creamy. I keep putting it on just because it feels so great on my lips. I love it.

I can't wait to wear my new stuff tomorrow.

Opi Metro Chic

I love this nail polish. It's a really gorgeous putty color- purpley grey. Or grey purple? Eh, either way, I love it. And it only took two coats for it to look completely opaque. I'll be wearing this color a lot, even though it's more of a fall color.

Addicted? Yes.

This is hardly a dent in it. I got some new nail polishes too. I'm officially done buying makeup in bulk. This is alllllll for doing other people's makeup. :3 So jazzed.

A huge bundle of stress has been lifted off me. My chem project is done, my math project is done, english class ends tomorrow and I finished my final essay. I'm so excited for summer, it's not even funny. I can't waaaaait.

I am in love with makeup.

Today I got some new amazing concealer by Make Up For Ever, nail polish, top coat, two lipsticks, and the Urban Decay brow box.

I'm still dying for Illamasqua's lip gloss Fierce. They were all out. I spent too much money, and I couldn't be happier.

I needed a day like this- to just get some things I really want and be satisfied.

Lady Gaga

I'm somewhat ashamed to say that Lady Gaga is started to rub off on me. I used to despise everything about her.

First it started with Bad Romance. I heard the song once, and couldn't get it out of my head, so I watched the video on youtube, and now I have a wicked bad romance with gaga.

After that I was convinced I hated everything else about her, except Bad Romance. Then I realized that although her fashion sense is bizarre, strange, and frankly, quite retarded according to some people, I still found myself researching what she wore to what. Her fashion is exactly what I love: dreamy, romantic, bizarre, psyco.

Then I was convinced that I hated everything else about her, except Bad Romance and her fashion. Then I started watching youtube videos for her dramatic, out there makeup, and eventually came to love (and buy) dramatic purple blush, pale-pink lips, and dramatic eyes.

So after that, I was convinced that I hated everything about her, except Bad Romance, her fashion, and her makeup. And, well, long story short, some of her other songs have rubbed off on me and now I'm kinda gaga for gaga. Not to the extreme that some of my friends (and my grandpa, seriously) are. Just enough to were I'll blare Bad Romance on my way home and now proudly sport my M.A.C. Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick.

And gosh DARNIT I want to tie my hair in a bow.

Not to mention I'm contemplating dying my hair strawberry blonde, a la bathtub gaga.
