MAC Venomous Villains Preview Party and Purchases

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzMl3iJuabk

The MAC VV Preview Party was super fun. I invited my friend Jenelle to go with me, and we had a blast. We got to the mall at about 6 even though our appointment was at 8:30. We wanted to shop around, eat dinner, and all that. We go into Sephora at 6, and a few minutes before 7 (when the party started) we saw a huge freaking line that wasn't near the MAC entrance. We were joking that we hoped it wasn't for the MAC party, because the line was pretty long. Jenelle asked someone what the line was for, and behold, it was for the party. We jumped right in that line, got our names checked off, and waited for about ten minutes. We were starving. At about 7:15 we were inside! It was shoulder to shoulder pretty much the whole night. It was absolute chaos. I didn't really care for the way they has everything go; because it was SO crowded and everyone wanted to try on everything, we felt really pressured to look, write down what we wanted, and then get the heck out of the way. I didn't try pretty much anything on, so I said, eh, and grabbed the two nail polishes I wanted. I went and looked at the permanent pigments and grabbed Old Gold and Cornflower. Two GORGEOUS colors that I'm in love with. I also grabbed Ruby Woo lipstick, which I'm wearing as I type. They had adorable little cups made our of chocolate that were filled with marshmallow and a chocolate mousse. So, so yummy. People were getting tipsy off the free cocktails and a couple glasses broke. After Jenelle and I finished paying, we went up to the food court and snarfed down some food. Fun night! Anyways, enough jabber. Here are the pictures.

We had no idea the store was going to be closed for this!

Huge line!

I am in love

MAC, you've screwed me over. Seriously. I have been at your counter a hundred times this month, even your website. I've easily spend a couple hundred dollars, and tomorrow I'm going to your premier of Venomous Villains. Why must you do this to me!?

Here are a few of my MAC favorites:

Viva Glam Gaga Lipgloss
Seriously, its so amazingly opaque for a lipgloss, it's ridiculous.

Swiss Chocolate Eyeshadow
The most amazing warm brown ever.

Bare Study and Quite Natural Paint Pots
Bare Study is my go-to everyday eyeshadow. I just slap some on, and I get tons of compliments on it. Quite Natural is an amazing all over or crease color. It can put on as an amazing light brown or built up to deep, hallow brown.

Morange Lipstick and Vegas Volt Lipstick, on their own and combined
Morange is described as "loudmouth" orange. That's what it is. It is orange. And I love it. Vegas Volt is more coral toned; a pink orange. Combined, it's magic.

Signature Blue Liquid Liner
From the Fabulous Felines Collection. The most amazing dark blue liner ever. Stays all day, so smooth, great applicator. Amazing substitute for black.

Don't worry, I didn't forget swatches. :)

Oh my stars

I have left you in the dust, my precious (not so much) blog. I'm going to try and rekindle you over the next few weeks.
We have so much to discuss.

Huge Post, Haul, and a Dupe!

PLEASE CLICK PICTURES FOR FULL SIZE.

First and foremost, I went to Target today with Scott. I got some neato stuff. I originally went to get some false lashes for fun and an illuminator, but decided against the lashes. But the illuminator is amazing.

Boots No.7 High Lights Illuminator

It's a really gorgeous pearly pink color and goes on like a lotion.

SOOOO PRETTYYYY!

I also got some new Sonia Kashuk brushes. A new concealer, blending, and a small shadow brush.

Now for Coastal Scents!

I got the 10 Color Blush Palette. This will be awesome for clients.

The only thing I don't like is that the packaging gets super dirty easily

Along with that I got the Camo Quad in Medium. Also good for clients.

The last thing was a free sample of their mineral blush in Princess J Blush. I looove it. It's kind of a dirty rose color. I might buy some!

Great, huh? I'm super excited.

Also, walking through target I found a perfect dupe for Sephora by OPI Metro Chic. It's called Commander in Chic by Sally Hansen. Obviously it was their intention to dupe it.
